Yodel was created in 2010 after a merger between HDNL (Home Delivery Network Ltd.) and DHL was agreed. Since then, they have become the 2nd biggest delivery company in the UK, working with many partners such as Amazon,  Tesco Direct,  Virgin wines, Your pet supermarket.co.uk and other third parties. The helpline for Yodel is open from 8am to 10pm between Monday and Friday, and 8am and 5pm on Saturday. The contact number is not available on Sundays. You can get in touch with the Yodel customer services department on 0844 556 4733, you can do this if you would like to inquire about delivery prices, you would like to rearrange a delivery time, you have not received a parcel that was supposed to be delivered by Yodel, you suspect your parcel was delivered to the wrong address or you have some questions about Yodel and how the company runs. You can also get in touch with Yodel using the Yodel ‘have your say’ customer dashboard displays live feedback from customers regarding their delivery experience. The feedback includes staff attitudes, user-friendliness of the tracking process and recommendations for future deliveries. Since the introduction in May 2013, customer levels of satisfaction have risen from 30% to 83%. The feedback is gathered through a range of channels such as email or SMS. If you won’t be in for your delivery, there are several options. You can have your parcel delivered to a neighbour or left in a safe place- however, for deliveries requiring a signature or there is not an approved safe place to leave the parcel, the parcel will not be left. If this occurs, a driver will leave you a card with instructions on what to do next. A green card means that the driver will have left their contact number on the back. If you are left an orange card, you can select a different delivery date or arrange to collect the parcel from your local depot.
