Why Choose Tesco Car Insurance?
There are a range of policies available for customers who choose to have their insurance with Tesco. To get a quote on the best policy for you, call the Tesco Car Insurance phone number or visit the Car Insurance section of the Tesco Bank website.
Tesco Bank will be able to not only offer you a quote on Tesco car insurance, but also guide you through the crazy world of car insurance and give you any additional help and advice you need. It doesn’t matter whether you are a first time driver or an experienced car owner – Tesco’s insurance customer service team will be able to break it down for you.
For young drivers aged between 17-25, there are two main insurance products Tesco Bank offers.
Box insurance is exclusively for young drivers and uses a small box (installed for free) to see how a car-owner drives. It gives fully comprehensive cover and has a fixed premium throughout the year (no curfews or fines). It also offers a choice of 6000, 8000 or 10,000 miles, which can be topped up when needed.
Car insurance, meanwhile, is a more traditional way for young drivers to insure their car. It gives unlimited mileage and all the usual great benefits of a Tesco car insurance policy, such as a small courtesy car; motor league protection; guaranteed repairs and full cover in the EU for up to 90 days.
Tailor Your Cover
Tesco offers customers the option to tailor their car insurance policy to meet their needs.
Breakdown cover entitles you to free breakdown service from the RAC should you ever be left stranded in a place far from home. There are four levels of cover to choose from, such as roadside cover for short, regular trips and Europe cover for holidays and longer road trips.
You’ll be free to choose the right one for your needs and/or budget.
Upgraded Courtesy Car Cover
This service grants you the use of a car for 28 days if your current vehicle is out of action due to loss or damage. This even includes situations where a car may be deemed beyond repair by your insurer’s approved repair network!
You courtesy car will be sure to fit your passenger size and luggage capacity requirements.
Driver Injury Cover
If any named driver (yourself or another person) is hurt in your car due to a bump or crash, you’ll be covered whether the accident was your fault or not. You’ll be reimbursed in the form of a lump sum payment up to a specified limit.
Car Key Cover
Tesco’s Car Key Cover offers access to a 24-hour a day helpline for when your keys are lost, stolen, or locked inside your car. After 14 days you will be issued a replacement for your car key and all other keys that might have been attached to your car key fob. Tesco will even organise replacement locks!
This additional service is up to the value of £1500 per policy.
