Brother Launches Updated ADS-2100e Desktop Document Scanner
April 27th, 2015

The updated Brother ADS-2100e document scanner is aimed at small businesses who are in need of capturing up to 1,500 pages on a daily basis. It is around the size of a large toaster and comes with a sturdy lid that folds closed to keep the dust out. It also has a robust tray for outputted documents to keep them neat and tidy.

The model doesn’t have a touch screen or Wi-Fi connectivity capabilities that are offered in the higher-end ADS-2600We, but it also doesn’t come with a large price tag either. The appearance of the ADS-2100e is quite basic, with lights to highlight power or problematic conditions and buttons that can be used to directly send scans to the host PC or cancel a job that is currently ongoing.

However, there is also a USB slot that allows a scanned document to be transferred directly onto the stick, which could be especially useful in a busy office environment.
