Cleaning The Oven Is Brit’s Most Hated Job
April 27th, 2015

When it comes to cleaning, there are many things we would rather be doing, but apparently cleaning the oven is our worst chore, coming at the top of a household survey.

The survey was carried out by Karcher and looked at the household habits of Brits and revealed that 30% of us would avoid doing our ironing at any cost, with cleaning our windows and vacuuming the stairs also coming close to the top of the list of the most hated jobs.

Other domestic sins that we are guilty of committing on a regular basis includes leaving mouldy cups of tea around, not wiping the toothpaste from our bathroom sinks and having rotting food left in the fridge. The study also revealed that six out of ten full time employees consider themselves to be too busy to clean each week and one in eight haven’t vacuumed so far this year at all.
