Orange is a UK telecom and mobile provider. Orange was founded in 1994 as a result of a merger of Hutchinson Telecom and Microtel Communications Ltd. In June of 1996 they entered the FTSE and were the youngest company to ever have done this with a valuation of £2.4 billion and by 1997 it had it’s one millionth customer. Throughout the years Orange had been bought by other companies and expanded over to Europe and in 2010 it had expended and merged to become Europe’s largest network and first 4G mobile network which is now known as EE.

Orange Customer Services

Orange Email Services

Orange is now apart of the EE services and as of the 31 May 2017 the Orange email services will be closed and you will be no longer able to access your account, view and send emails. If somebody tries to email you from your old Orange address they will receive an email to tell them they’re email was not delivered. EE is not offering an alternative to this email service and they recommend for you to set up an alternative email address if you have not already. EE decided to close the Orange email service as its usage from customer dropped since there are many other free alternatives such as Gmail and Hotmail.

EE started to take over Orange in June 2013 when it started to give Orange customers access to their 4G network. EE was founded in 2010 as a result of other mobile networks such as Orange and T Mobile creating a European service which was the first to access the 4G network in 2012, in which they quickly made 4GEE and their speeds have now doubled since then in cities all across the country. When EE took over Orange completely they just closed the Orange Your Account services and instead offers customers to view their bills and usage via text or their app, they just took on the Orange contracts and offered customers the chance to upgrade if they would like to.

Orange Mobiles

Orange was most known for it’s mobile services and many customers were worried that this would change during the EE switch but EE ensured that everything about their contracts would stay the same if not improve after they had completely took over all of Orange’s customers. EE offers a huge range of mobile options such as pay as you go mobiles, pay monthly mobiles, the fastest 4G services, SIM only contracts as well as HD voice services. Orange EE Broadband

As Orange is now apart of EE they can offer the EE broadband service. EE offer broadband for your mobile and your home. You can find out if you can access the EE broadband service by going to the EE website and entering you postcode and landline, then select your home address and the website will tell you if you can access the services and what the maximum speed is of your area as well as any packaged available. The EE mobile broadband service is a small portable device that you pay for monthly, you can connect many devices to it and it offers 4G wifi.
