CSL is a furniture specialist chain of shops that you can contact on the CSL customer service number. The store focuses on selling sofas, although it does stock optional extras such as footstools, chairs and cushions. The extras often match the sofa, and cushions are generally included at no extra cost. CSL has a tailor made service, where you can select the style of sofa that you like and then customise it with your choice of colours. There are a wide variety of sofas available in a range of different styles such as two-seaters, corner and reclining, and the sofas come in leather or fabric.
CSL offers three methods of payment. You can pay the full amount by cash, buy now and pay nothing for the first year or purchase with 4 years of interest-free credit with a deposit. There is a range of delivery options available to suit your needs.
Customers can order their items over the CSL customer service number or in store. The items can be viewed online or on the app, which allows you to browse the sofas in 3D and save your favourites to a list. If you wish to be advised on your purchase or you want to place an order, you can request a call back from CSL who will speak to you at a time that is convenient for you.y options available and the sofa will generally be delivered within 6-16 weeks. There are also some clearance and express sofas which are available which can be delivered within 72 hours. The clearance sofas are usually ex-display from retail stores and are sold at a reduced price due to the fact that they may show some signs of wear and tear. There may also be some refurbished sofas available for a reduced price.
When you place your order, CSL will take you through all aspects of the product and services available, providing you with the relevant information including how to care for your new sofa. If you choose the ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ option, it is a credit agreement where you pay a deposit and then have a 12 month payment holiday.

Sometimes, delivery of an item can be delayed. If this happens to you, CSL will endeavour to keep you up to date regularly. The factors of a delayed delivery are often out of CSL’s control. Rebrand to Sofology
In February 2016, following an initial rebrand to Sofaworks, CSL finally settled on the name Sofology. The Staff that work for Sofology are known as Sofologists and are not paid any commission so they won’t pressure you into purchasing a sofa for their own sake. All products have a 10-year structural guarantee as well as a two-year standard guarantee. The sofas sold by the company are made by themselves so you won’t find them anywhere else. There are 33 Sofology superstores across the UK with digital visualisation technology, aiming to make shopping for your new sofa a fun experience. There are six collections such as Vintage, Studio & Small Spaces, Classics and Comfort Zone, so you’re sure to find the right sofa for you.
CSL is now known as Sofology It’s origins began as CSL Sofas based in an auction room in Accrington. It offered second-hand furniture before moving to a high street store chain selling only its own products. The company ceased producing sofas in the UK in 2002, citing that cheaper production in Eastern Europe allowed them to pass their savings on to customers. The company has expanded to include many stores on retail parks up and down the country in the likes of Speke, Croydon and Gateshead. The Sofaworks headquarters can now be found in Golborne, near Wigan where distribution and employee training also takes place. There are three other smaller distribution centres across the country.
Number Direct is a telephone directory and call routing service and is not connected to CSL. The direct contact number for CSL can be found in the public domain or on their official website.
