Save Money At Asda With Their Delivery Pass

Asda customers who regularly use the supermarket’s home delivery service could be saving up to £200 every year by using a Delivery Pass. It is quick to acquire, cheap to purchase, and very easy to use. So what is it, and how does it work? Here is everything you need to know about Asda’s Delivery Passes and how you could be keeping your wallet a little heavier every month by using it.

What is the Asda Delivery Pass and how does it work?

Asda’s home delivery service is valuable to a great many people. It can help those who wish to avoid the crowds, for instance, or those who cannot get out of the house. They allow you to do all of your shopping online and have the items sent to your house at any time or date of your preference. However, there is one major drawback: when you order a delivery from Asda, you will have to pay a postage charge on the items being sent to your home address. Over time, these Asda delivery postage prices will add up.

The Asda Delivery Pass solves this problem. Rather than paying a small delivery charge on every order that adds up over time, you pay a one-off price for a pass that is automatically used at the checkout every time you place an order. So, for example, if you make two home orders from Asda every month with a £2.95 delivery charge on top, this  will cost you just under £71 every year. But, instead, you could get the 12 month £60 delivery pass which will automatically be recognised at the checkout to replace the £2.95 charge. In this instance, you could be saving £11 for the year.

Even if, for some reason, you don’t make a saving Asda has a Saving Guarantee that promises you money back. Asda will work out the cost of the standard delivery charges during the period in which you own a Delivery Pass, and if the standard delivery would have been cheaper than using the pass, the supermarket will send you an e-voucher you can use to make up the difference.

What type of delivery passes are available from Asda and what are the prices for them?

There are four different types of Asda delivery passes which you can purchase for a variety of prices. These include:

12 Month Anytime Pass – £60

You can use this whenever you want for 12 months.

12 Month Midweek Pass – £24

You can use this for deliveries on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for 12 months.

6 Month Anytime Pass – £36

Can I cancel my Asda Delivery Pass?

If you choose not to use the delivery pass, you can always cancel it. The pass comes with a 14 day cooling off period from the moment you pay for it. During this time, you can cancel the pass and get a refund so long as you haven’t used it. Cancellation can be done online or by calling the Asda customer service team.
